As its Valentines we both definitely have like loads to remember back and share. And so we both are writing this post together. Dont worry about the language I shall make it simpler. Parul is bowled over by spanishism 🙂 I don’t know if thats even a word but what I intend to convey is that wherever you find spanish its written by Parul and remaining by me. Dont worry I will act like a translator for you today 🙂 Rather make it simpler… will not give her enough chance to write 😉 Awww.. Sakshi.. tu muy dulce. como se puede hacer eso? Thank you Parul. I know I m sweet 😉 and I am surely going to take the key pad away from you now. So foodies talking about this day of love. As you all know Saint Valentine’s Day, also known as Valentine’s Day or the Feast of Saint Valentine, is observed on February 14 each year. It is celebrated in many countries around the world, although it remains a working day in most of them 🙂 In 18th-century England, it evolved into an occasion in which lovers expressed their love for each other by presenting flowers, offering confectionery, and sending greeting cards (known as “valentines”). Valentine’s Day symbols that are used today include the heart-shaped outline, doves, and the figure of the winged Cupid. All the girls wait for this special day (including us 😉 ), when our husbands or boyfriends will pamper us and try to make our day special 🙂 “ Un día tan especial se merece deliciosa receta. Receta por lo de hoy es muy muy bueno “ eeeee….. Parul ya thankyou…. Well foodies she just means that todays day is very special and so is the recipe. What we have got for you on our menu today are Eggless Red velvet cup cakes 🙂 Rings a bell. We are sure it does. These are quite a delight these days and on menu of almost every Cafe and restaurants. Honestly Parul finds them over rated but I love them. And I m sure as we start to eat them while you are going through the post Parul shall start loving them too 🙂 These sinful cup cakes carry quite a loved color for the V day and so became an obvious choice for the post this time 🙂 Red velvet cup cakes are with either a dark red, bright red or red-brown color. They are traditionally prepared as a layer cake topped with cream cheese or cooked roux icing. The reddish color is achieved by adding beetroot or red food coloring. Before more alkaline “Dutch processed” cocoa was widely available, the red color would have been more pronounced. Common ingredients include buttermilk, butter, cocoa, and flour for the cake, beetroot or red food coloring for the color. The term “red velvet” gets tossed around a lot these days. It is – arguably – the hottest cake flavor out there if you watch food focused TV programming where all the presenters go ga-ga over a slice of the cake. Red velvet cake usually surfaces as a buttermilk cake with a lot of red food coloring in it to give it its distinctive color. The exact origins of the cake are unknown, and there are plenty of theories out there that try to explain how the cake got to be red. The original red velvet cake is said to have had a reddish hue that was caused by the reaction between natural cocoa powder and an acidic ingredient, like buttermilk. You can observe a slight reddish tint in chocolate cupcakes made with these two ingredients. Even a small amount of cocoa powder will tint the cake more brown than red, however, so even if this classic recipe began in this way, it really is the red food coloring that makes it what it is today. The cake is usually topped off with a generous amount of cream cheese frosting, which adds even more flavor to the cake and gives it a high contrast red and white finish. Its The icing is yum but surely carries a lot of calories 😉 Its quite good once in a while but you may love enjoying them without it. The cream used in ingredients gives its enough moistness as to love these mini cake addictions. Also it gets easier to let even the older ones to enjoy more with lighter frosting or may be minimal of creme cheese. But then you may fight over to get the exact taste 🙂 Well its vicious 😉 We did some with cream cheese frosting which were consumed in no time 🙂 and most of them with the ready icing 🙂 we had quite a lot of them 🙂 so had good fun utilizing them 🙂 Red velvet cup cakes are a combination of a sweet and soft cupcake with a rich tangy cream cheese frosting. It will definately going to be on your favorite dessert and tea time menu 🙂 Have a look : el amor es un sentimiento guapo que no puede ser definido que gobierna el corazon y la mente a veces la profundidad de su amor y cuidado no es facil de encontrar Muy bien Parul. Ooops I mean very good. lol…. But ya that’s a good one . and friends its a sweet thought and so will like you all to search on it than translating 🙂 Leaving you on that note have a lovely valentines day. Spread love and stay blessed 🙂 Adios 🙂 Cheers!!! Sakshi n Parul
